One level. One note.
Layers arrive as a single note and every level-up buys exactly one more. Nothing is handed to you finished - the wall of sound is assembled one note at a time, and by the late waves it is taming everything on screen.

ROGUELITE · INCREMENTAL · MUSIC COMBAT
Tame the wild notes. Your weapon is the jam you write.
A bullet heaven where the enemies are wild music notes and your weapon is the jam you write. Every level-up hands you one note. Put it on the bar: it plays as music and fires as an attack, forever. By the last wave your beat is taming everything - and it goes on your shelf.

One bar. Sixteen steps. A playhead sweeping it at tempo, firing every note it touches. Spacing is the constraint: a kick wants two steps of room, a crash cymbal wants eight. You cannot machine-gun a layer - you have to arrange.
There are no audio files. The guitar is Karplus-Strong, the electric piano is two-operator FM, the choir is additive with detuned voices. Every run draws a chord cycle in its own key, and your bar re-voices itself to follow.
An arranger plays your bar the way a producer would: a fill from your own kit every fourth bar, a soft crash at the top of a phrase, and when a boss walks on, a riser, one held breath, and the drop.
7 ranks from STUDENT to LEGEND, 7 stages from the PRACTICE ROOM to the WORLD STAGE. Book your own nights off a weekly sheet, read the risk against the money, and climb.
Composing mode. Pick your kit, set the chords, the key, the tempo and the swing, then PLAY IT - the game performs your track as an actual run, and the beat stays in your career.

Eighth notes rush you. Sharps zig-zag. Flats lean in heavy. Whole notes soak damage. Every one of them is a note that got away, and taming it feeds the jam. The rests are silence with guns - the short ones run with the swarm and shoot, and the long ones are the bosses. A longer silence is a bigger boss.
24 layers, each a synthesis family the desk did not already have and an attack shape nothing else does. 7 channels, one bar, and over seventy-five thousand possible desks - no two runs converge on the same arrangement.

Six beaters slam the floor in a wide ring around you. The shock rolls out through the boards and shoves notes off them.

Stabs a row of spikes out in front of you. Pierces everything it touches.

A huge slow wave of low end. Enormous reach and brutal knockback.

Voices appear and orbit you while the chord sustains, cutting anything close.

Fires seeking notes that chase down whatever is nearest.

Plants a bar of horn across your front. It holds the ground it takes.

Sucks the wild notes into one point while it rises, then lets go all at once.

A shell blooms out of you and stands there, dragging incoming fire down to a crawl.
14 house songs, each with its own chord loop, key, tempo and swing. Every act of a show is a new one, on an empty bar.
the original - a rising minor loop that keeps leaning forward
straight-ahead and driving, with keys and records flying
the big loop at full sprint - guitar stabs on every beat
bright and high - claps, keys on the off-sixteenths
